My Anti-Hero...

Hero: Sol
Villain: Ledgic
Master/Teacher: Kairo
Setting: Spirit World
Plot: Sol gets caught in a shaman's spell and gets dragged into the Spirit World where the spirits of the dead pass from the World of the Living to the World of the Dead. The shaman was possessed by Ledgic, a half demon who has seven spirits. Here he has to learn how to cope to the conditions and how to survive. He meets a man who was in the same situation he was in, but he cannot leave anymore because of something that happened.
Why is he the Anit-Hero?: Sol is an anti-hero because physically, he is below average. Even though he is an independent character he doubts himself a lot. He is indecisive and cannot make a decision and stick with it. He is also pessimistic, not only that but instead of thinking two steps ahead of the other person, he thinks of about 30 steps and his pessimistic side kicks in around the tenth step and he ends up not confronting anyone. But one thing is that when he does get involved he doesn't like to quit.

  1. I like the reasons as to why Sol is the anti-hero. Those characteristics make him more likable by the audience and the reader can somewhat relate to him because of those common human flaws. He isn't perfect and does not seem to be invincible, but has rather gained a special ability that does not grant him typical hero qualities such as super strength, speed, or flight.
